This is for a business that is converting existing servers to either VMWare VSphere ESXI or Microsoft Hyper-V and plans to host this server in an equipment rack or hosting centre.
This will also be suitable for a new business wanting to establish a number of separate virtual machines on a single computer or host.

What's Included
This is an 8 core single processor server with 64 GB RAM. An array controller and three 900 GB SAS drives (approx. 1.8tb available) are included. A second (redundant) power supply is also included. An additional processor may be added to expand to 16 cores and both RAM and disk may also be expanded.

We build the server in our configuration centre and pre-install either VSphere ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V. Licenses for VMWare VSphere, Windows and other operating systems must be migrated or purchased separately.

The server also includes a keyboard and mouse and monitor.
The server includes 3 year on-site warranty with next business day response in metropolitan areas.

WINDOWS HOST ENVIRONMENT		VMWARE HOST ENVIRONMENT
	We offer licenses for Windows server Standard and Windows Server Datacenter. Each Windows Server Standard license provides for up to 2 virtual machines. Windows Server Datacenter provides for Unlimited Virtual Machines on one host. Hyper-V hypervisor may be used to host multiple instances of Windows Server or Windows Desktop. These virtual machines must be Windows Server 2012, 2008 or Windows desktop operating systems (XP-Win10). There is limited support for Server 2003 (not SBS). See: https://technet.microsoft.com Each copy of Windows Server Standard supports two virtual machines. If a large number of virtual machines are planned Windows Server Datacenter which supports unlimited virtual machines may work out more cost effective. We generally recommend Microsoft versions of Windows Server rather than OEM copies despite the additional cost. The main reason behind this is that the OEM copies are licensed to a particular physical server whereas the Microsoft licenses may be migrated to other servers.		VmWare Essentials and VMWare Essentials plus provide a managed virtual environment for an unlimited number of virtual machines on up to 3 hosts each with up to two processors. VMWare VSphere Essentials Plus is designed for mission critical servers and includes vMotion, High Availability, Data Protection, vShield Endpoint and vSphere Replication. To make the most of this environment you will require at least two physical servers linked by a dedicated high speed network. This software is available with 1 or 3 year of software upgrades and support. We recommend the 3 year maintenance option. After purchasing VSphere Essentials you may license and run any combination of Windows, Linux, Unix, OSX, Netware (and more) virtual machines. EXTENDED WARRANTY		BACKUP
	An upgrade from the three years onsite next business day warranty to a 3 year onsite 24 by 7 by 4 hour warranty is available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.		Veeam Backup Essentials is designed specifically to back up a virtualized environment and is recommended. This performs backup, virtual machine recovery and replication and is licensed for a minimum of 2 server processors in one host. We sell Veeam Backup Essentials software with three 2tb external drives and setup of the backup job. We perform an initial backup of your new host.
SERVER ANTI-VIRUS and ANTI-MALWARE		MICROSOFT OFFICE AND EXCHANGE ONLINE
	We are also able to provide server anti-malware and antivirus which also covers other devices including PCs and tablets. Our fee includes the license and loading the software onto the server.			For an additional fee including software subscription and installation, we can include Office 365 Business Premium providing Outlook email with Exchange Online, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more for a specified number of users. There is an annual payment for the software subscription.
